The School of Pharmacy held its official groundbreaking ceremony for the much anticipated Pharmacy Hall Addition on Sept 19. The event was held directly in front of the hole that marks the early stages of construction that began in June.    The state of Maryland approved $62 million for the addition in the April.

University Fitness Opens in BioPark II

After much anticipation, the new University Fitness Center celebrated its grand opening with an open house on August 27. The center, located at 801 W. Baltimore St. on the first floor of Biopark II building, will serve as an interim facility until the fitness center opens at the new Campus Center.

Incoming PharmD students in the School of Pharmacy can expect more changes than just construction on the Pharmacy Hall addition this year. They can also look forward to a new dress code, an amendment that was made to the existing honor code by the Student Government Association council in the weeks prior to the start of classes.
